Rosa Montezuma, Miss Comarcas, was crowned Señorita Panamá 2018 during the finale held Thursday night, June 7 at the Roberto Duran Arena. She will represent Panama at the 2018 Miss Universe Pageant.
This is the 3rd edition of the renewed Señorita Panama Pageant, after Justine Pasek, Miss Universe 2002, and César Anel Rodríguez were named the new directors of the pageant. 20 preliminay contestants have been selected from all over Panama and competed for the prestigious crown.
Montezuma is 25 years old and stands 5’6″ tall. She hails from the town of Alto Caballero and has a degree in Food Science and Technology. She is also a sophomore, studying Educational Information Technology.
Other winners of the evening include Miss World Panama – Solaris Barba (Miss Herrera); Miss Panama International – Shirel Ortiz (Miss Panama Centro); Miss Earth Panama – Diana Lemos (Miss Isla San Jose); 1st Runner Up – Zunilda Del Valle (Miss Taboga); and 2nd Runner Up – Andrea Batista (Miss Los Santos).
The rest of the top 10 includes Miss Panama Este – Nohelys González; Miss Veraguas – Selena Gómez; Miss Panama Oeste – Karla Rivas; Miss Chiriqui – Kiara Sang.
