24-year-old Francesca Hung was crowned Miss Universe Australia at the conclusion of the pageant held Thursday at the Sofitel Melbourne. Hung is of Irish and Chinese decent. She has a degree in Arts and Sociology and currently running part-time a Masters in Publishing at the University of Sydney. She is professionally a model. She likes to play Piano and practice Ballet.
Other winners of the evening include Jasmine Stringer from Queensland, who won First Runner-up and she will represent Australia at the 2018 Miss International Beauty Pageant in Japan.
Tasha Ross won Second Runner-up and she will represent Australia at the 2018 Miss Grand International in Myanmar.
