It’s official! Thailand will be the host of the 2018 Miss Universe Pageant in December. Thailand’s Tourism and Sports Minister, Weerasak Kowsurat, announced on Tuesday that the Miss Universe Organization decided to hold the pageant in their country for the third time. The pageant finals will be held at the Muang Thong Thani complex in Nonthaburi in the morning of December 17, evening of December 16 in the United States.
Mr Weerasak held a press conference at the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre about the Miss Universe Organization decision to choose Thailand as the host country.
Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters were present at the briefing in Bangkok. Former Miss Universe 1965, Apasra Hongsakula and Miss Universe 2005, Natalie Glebova were also present.
