24-year-old JoEllen Walters of Eagle River was crowned Miss Alaska USA 2019. She will represent her state at the 2019 Miss USA Pageant. She is the first of the 51 state title holders for the 2019 Miss USA to be crowned.
This is Walters’ 3 attempt for the crown. In 2015, she placed 1st Runner Up while in 2014, she placed 2nd Runner Up. She hopes to be her state’s first Miss USA winner.
